TroyBoi bridges less-traveled music territory by teaming up with Morray, Daya, Toxic Rob, Shiwa, Zamaera, Drew Love, and Rockie Fresh on FT.

TroyBoi has blessed the world with some of electronic music's biggest hits thanks to his signature production style. His uniquely textured trap beats have attracted some of pop's greatest vocalists, like Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Billie Eilish. It's safe to say TroyBoi has trailblazed paths in electronic music that were never explored before.

Over the years, he has honed in on instrumental tracks with albums like SAY LESS and 4 ON DA FLOOR out on the airwaves. But what if we told you he was ready to devote more attention to collaboration? His track record of successful pop star team-ups makes you wonder if he's on to something.

Today, TroyBoi released FT. , an EP focused entirely on cross-genre collaboration. We all know his production style is something to write home about alone, but with the help of vocalists and producers from across the music spectrum, this project is the blueprint for versatility. When talking about the album, he said, "My goal is for artists across different genres to hear this project and think, I’d love to create something with TroyBoi.”

A lot of my previous releases have been instrumental-driven records, but this time I wanted to build something around featured artists and explore what happens when different voices meet my production.

Troyboi

The exploration begins with Shiwa on " Jungle ." Reggae meets bass as the lyrics bring island flavor to TroyBoi's ever-so-addictive production style. " HUSH " brings Daya 's angelic voice into the spotlight as the slowed-down trap beat lets her handle the reins. Zamaera has " So Much To Say " thanks to her Malaysian hip-hop influence, creating the perfect environment for Troyboi's artistry to thrive in unison.

Next, " LA LA LAND " has the signature Troyboi energy with playful textures hidden within. Match that with Morray 's rich, raw vocals layered on top, and get ready to hit the replay button. Drew Love taps in next on " Picante ." It's a match made in music heaven.

We aren't done there, though. " BEAR " enters with Rockie Fresh laying some swagger-filled lyrics over percussion to match. You'll find yourself nodding along to every word as the beat carries you along.
